MagMaker Hub Resources
Magnet-making software & tools.
Shopify integration, online storefronts and live event ordering. Explore some of the software available to help run a modern magnet-making business.
Different platforms. Different workflows. Find what works for you.
Where do you start?
There isn't one platform for every magnet business.
Some makers already sell through Shopify. Others want software with its own online storefront. If live events are a big part of your business, your priorities may be completely different again.
This isn't a ranking. Platforms are listed in approximate order of establishment rather than recommendation. I'm currently working my way through the different options and will continue adding more detailed findings as I test them.
Testing in progress.
I'm working my way through these platforms to understand both the maker workflow and what the experience is like for customers ordering and uploading their photos.
Keep it simple
Three questions can narrow things down quickly.
Does it work with Shopify? Does it give you a standalone storefront? Can you use it for live events? Those three things alone can make it much easier to work out which platforms are worth looking at more closely.

Before choosing
Start with the way you actually sell.
You don't necessarily need the platform with the longest feature list. You need the one that fits your workflow.
Already have a Shopify store?
A direct Shopify integration can let you keep your existing store while adding the photo-upload and production workflow you need.
Don't have a website?
A built-in storefront can give customers somewhere to browse, upload and order without needing separate ecommerce software.
Making magnets on the spot?
QR uploads, fast order intake and print-ready workflows can make a huge difference when you're working through a live queue.
Explore first. Decide second.
I'm continuing to work my way through these platforms and will add more detailed testing and comparisons as I go.
